Well i just got the ac unit like 2 days ago...... from previous reviews I already knew i was going to get insulation for the hose and the window -so I did. i set it up on a high sturdy table just below the window ran the hose ,insulated it and the window . turned it on and cold air was right there ,although it was 96 degrees outside and 85 in my room as i was installing it . long story short -its quiet ,its smooth , its looks very modern and hi-tech with its blue screen and the remote works perfect.my room dropped 9 degrees in 12 minutes flat ..... was hanging at 69 degrees in an hour and got as low as 65 over night to the point i had to put the temp back to 70 because me and my wife were to cold!!
