This AC is awesome. Our last one was so loud it would keep me awake at night and get me so worked up over how noisy it was. This one is really good in that sense. Any AC is going to make "noise." But there is only a certain kind that you can only take for so long! This one, is fantastic!! It cools very nicely in my bedroom. A lot of people seem to be complaining about the beep sound level? That's honestly the LEAST of my concerns. My only concerns are really the functionality/noise level of the AC itself. I absolutely recommend this AC for anyone who is unsure, and looking for a quieter "normal sounding" AC. It sorta reminds me of a hotel AC? If that makes any sense. Best of luck :)
